Corporate bailouts add to the vicious cycle of wasted money. The Government has injected too much money into our economy. It has resulted in skyrocketing interest rates and 34 trillion dollars in national debt. For example, SVB bank had 60 billion dollars in deposits in 2020. In 2022, they had 200 billion dollars in deposits from government bailouts with borrowed money. The bank then invests in government bonds and with that government money, interest rates rise, the bond’s worth decreases, the government issues new bonds at a higher rate. The bank goes under and in turn the government bails out that bank, wastes our taxpayer dollars, and the cycle continues.
The defund the police movement didn’t work out that well for the Democrats. Democrat lead cities have the highest crimes I have seen in my lifetime. Order needs to be restored. We need to fund the police for training and work with state legislators to remove the prosecutors that refuse to be tough on crime.
I am for LEGAL immigration. However, this administration not only fails but refuses to protect our borders. We now have the democrat mayor of New York who represents a sanctuary city pleading with his own party to secure our border because he can’t sustain the amount of migrants that cost his city 10 million dollars per day. That 10 million dollars per day falls on us, the taxpayer. I reference New York because the media covers that. The same thing is happening in New Jersey.
The laws passed by this state and many other states unconstitutionally stripped parents of their rights to decide what their children are taught in schools. They stripped their rights not only for school curriculum but also their rights to make decisions for their underage children. Teachers are given the power to decide, at their own discretion, and are not required to inform parents of their children’s behavior.
With the pandemic we have seen a rise in mental health conditions in this country. We have also seen a monumental rise in drug addiction that is a result of the lock downs and open border policies that make it easier for the transport of fentanyl and other dangerous drugs from Mexico to the United States.
Social media outlets protected by Section 230 are relieved of any liability from what people post on their platform. Although they are a private entity and it’s the user’s choice to use their platform, they can’t have it both ways. If they are not responsible for what their users post, they should be held accountable for what posts they choose to censor.
