Congressional Candidate DAMON GALDO (R, NJ-01) has issued five debate challenges to incumbent DONALD NORCROSS — by hand-delivered letter, by certified mail, by phone, by social media direct message, and finally by issuing an in-person challenge at Norcross’ Haddon Township Town Hall event on September 10. Norcross still refuses to agree to a debate. 

As the national trend of Democrats refusing debates continues to rise, Galdo is determined to be heard by the voters of New Jersey’s 1st Congressional District. In a brilliant creative twist, Galdo “debated" Norcross in a parody debate that combines serious political commentary with mockery of the incumbent who won’t show up for a real debate. 

Mr. Galdo says, “The people of South Jersey deserve to see their candidates together. Let’s see if the current Congressman can defend his voting and legislative record, and let the people hear about my vision for representing New Jersey in the future."
